Pico De Gallo

You will never eat or serve jarred salsa again! If you have a few tomatoes in your kitchen, this is SO easy to whip up. The results are insanely fresh, bright, and delicious.

I’ve used pickled jalapeños and fresh, either works just fine.




  • 3 tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1 small white onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
  • 1/3 jalapeño, seeded and finely minced (more or less depending on your tolerance of spiciness)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add all ingredients to a medium bowl. Stir lightly until evenly distributed.
  2. Cover and place in refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  3. Serve with chips, over tacos, etc.
  4. Enjoy!
